Woodland Archaeology Workshop with Kent Adult Education




Find out about how to look at our natural living heritage through ancient trees. This course aims to be a very informative and enjoyable day for those interested in finding out more about tree archaeology.

South East Water - Meters




South East Water will be holding a drop-in session for local residents who wish to find out more information about the compulsory metering programme that will be reaching parts of Hadlow from May.

The programme started in August 2011 in Sevenoaks and will be installing 375,000 meters across the supply area so that by 2020 at least 90% of customers have a water meter.

The session will be held at the Old School Hall on Thursday 15th March from 12pm-2pm.

All members of the local community are welcome to pop in, have a cup of tea and find out more about the work taking place in the area.

Golden Green Association - Annual Dinner


23 February 7pm for 7.30pm

Chairman Alec invites anybody who has made a contribution to the village – lottery, fete, carol service, coffee morning, hall maintenance etc. – and anybody else who wants to come, to dinner at The Bell on 23 February.

Cost is £17.95 per head. Please register with Alec as soon as ossible.

Queens Diamond Jubilee - invitation to join the event committee


Invitation to join the committee to plan the Hadlow Jubilee celebrations.

Come to a meeting to discuss ideas and form a new committee for the event on Monday, 30th January at 7:30pm in the Old School Hall.


Hadlow Amateur Dramatics Society



Come and see our Fun Filled Family Pantomime on Friday 13th January (eve) and Saturday 14th January (matinee and evening) at Hadlow Village Hall. Tickets available from Hadlow Pharmacy and East Peckham Stores. Adults £7.50, children £5.50. Come and enjoy the show!

Retirees’ New Year Lunch - Golden Green

Wednesday 18th January - 12.15pm for 12.30 in Golden Green Village Hall

Scrumptious, home-cooked dishes, accompanied by a glass of wine. Charming 'nippies' provide a warm welcome and look after you royally. Bring a raffle prize and some money to buy raffle tickets.

Churches Ride and Stride


Hundreds of people across Kent are preparing to get on their bikes or put on their walking shoes to raise funds for Kent churches and chapels. Participants of the Friends of Kent Churches sponsored Ride and Stride will visit as many churches as they like from the 750 taking part. 50% of money you raise goes to the church of your choice and 50% to the Friends to help needy churches.

Open Artists Studio
